This is another "Bairs" location that Tim opened a few months back. This bar and grill has rapidly become the king of the area; with some of the craziest specials you will ever see!!! Tuesday's they have a "bike night" where beers are $1 and there's a free taco bar! There is always a $5.50 pitcher special, and he does an all you can eat breakfast special on the weekends! The place is huge, with big screens for the game, and a stage for entertainment. The staff is prompt and friendly, the food is great and the portions are ginormous! This is the home bar for lots of people who live in this area. Take note bar owners; this guy knows how to run a bar, and keep his patrons happy!

This place used to be a regular hang out for us.  We still go on bike night (Tuesday) but the food has changed since cooks have left or got fired, etc.  It is not as good as it was when we started coming here after they first opened.  They are slowly trying to raise costs of items.  Beer used to be $1 on bike nights and the wings were AMAZING!  We ordered the wings a lot.  Now the food is mediocre and the beers are $3 to $3.75 on TUESDAY!  Most bars do a special on the weeknights to get people in there but this place has raised their prices since so many people go, i guess to price gouge.  Very disappointing.  Less and less bikes show up now that they have made these changes.  They do tacos on Tuesdays and a couple weeks ago there were about 10 to 12 orders of tacos sitting in the kitchen window for about 30 minutes and people were getting mad and just started walking behind the bar and getting their own food.  It was a bit sad that they were so unorganized and that the customer service has suffered so much.  The owner needs to get involved more!

Original rating 2 Stars: Food is great but the service needs improvement. Won't be back. One of our gals wanted a salad made special due to diet restrictions, and they said sooty...we have too many people here. We were here 30 minutes before they even took our order. Then an hour later, we still don't have our food. You can have the best food, but if your service can not compare to your food, why bother?

UPDATE: they took care of us (no, we did not get or ask for anything free- it is not about that). So, we will try back again. They were friendly and expedited our food.

I felt like I was back home in Iowa. Very nice hometown tavern feel, and some pretty decent tasting bar food. Came here for the first time the other night after a graduation, and enjoyed it very well. Looks like a great place to watch the game, throw some darts at the wall, have a slider and a cold one, and just have a good ole time. May show up when they have karaoke, since I did that for 15 of the 20 years I was in Iowa. We'll be back.
